Imagine you getting on a ship and waving to your husband or wife and think that you may never see them again. You can see your family crying as they become smaller. It takes a special type of person to be a veteran.

Veterans are important because they are the backbone of the United States of America. It is very important to honor veterans because without them we would not be here today. Instead of being here we could be a prisoner in a terrorist prison. For these reasons it is important to thank them at every chance possible.

Veterans don’t get enough credit for risking their lives for us to be free. Veterans are the real heroes although if you go online the people at the top of every list is pop stars and singers. What should be at the top is the real heroes that people should recognized not singers or dancers.

Veterans Fought in the army so that Mother, Daughter, Father, Son, Grandma, and Grandpa can lay there head down on their pillow at without having to worry.

Veterans are very special people. They are special because they put everyone else’s needs before their own needs. They put there lives on the line for our freedom. They go into the army knowing that they may never see their friend and family again. This is what makes them such good people.

On the wall of fallen soldiers that have died for our freedom there is 59,000 people. They have died fighting for the United States of America. Without them we most likely would not be here today.

As you can see veterans are very important people because they have been risking their lives for our country since 1776. Without the veterans from the past and present we would not be here today. Without the veterans of the future our country would collapse. Therefore our country needs to honor them as much as possible.
